The Sons of liberty is a series of articles which attempt to bring in to context the realities of today with the words of the Founders. Other aspects of how we have deviated from the course set for us over two hundred years ago are addressed in:

Sons of Liberty #9 - July 25, 1994 -- "by means of a standing army, quartered among the people, was able to overawe them, and compel them to submit to the most arbitrary, cruel and illegal measures." -- The cyclic nature of democracy.

Sons of Liberty #25 - January 13, 1997 -- "...that government was instituted to promote the welfare of mankind and ought to be administered for the attainment of that end." -- When we each of our times come for the recognition of the fact that government has failed at its instituted duty.
